The Brain has two distinct sides, or hemispheres, the Left Brain vs the Right Brain, each responsible for different things.

When a person develops a dominance toward one side of their brain, they tend to have certain characteristics and areas of interest that are abundant within that side of the brain.

The left brain focuses on verbal skills, or number skills, processing information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces of a picture/ something and then putting them together to get the whole. The left side of the brain is often thought of as the logical, thinking side. Left-brain people remember information through words, and logic. They tend to question the origin of something they learn, out of curiosity, or simply just to remember the particular fact/event/etc easily.

The right brain, focuses on the visual skills and anything to do with that. It processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the picture then the details. The Right side of the brain is the artistic, creative and imaginitive side of the brain. Just because they are not as good with numbers and remembering facts does not mean that they are dumber than a left brain person. They just have their strength in different areas. Right-brain people remember information easily through what they see.

Each person has they're own skills and specialty, and that is often affected by whichever brain dominates.

Last week's General Paper Classes included a quiz, where we learnt which side of our brain was dominant, and what type of people we are. Nazz's left brain is more dominant compared to her right brain xD and she's got both sequential qualities. HAHA =__=

How to make use of the other side of the brain which isnt that dominant?
